Ryanair Working To Return To Normal Schedule Following UK Air Traffic Glitch

Ryanair is working to have a normal service from tomorrow.

Irish passengers continue to feel the impact of the UK air traffic control technical glitch yesterday.

20 flights were cancelled to and from Dublin Airport today.

The cause has still not been determined, however the British Transport Secretary has ruled out a cyber attack.

Ryanair's Group CEO, Mullingar's Michael O'Leary, expects 70 flights to be cancelled across Europe today, but they are working to get back to a normal schedule:

Cork Airport had to operate at full schedule this morning after 22 arrivals and departures were cancelled yesterday.

Management at the airport says some flights were cancelled this morning, due to operational difficulties, however, schedules are now operating as normal.

Ryanair expects to cancel 70 flights today across Europe as a result of yesterday's technical glitch with Britain's air traffic control.
