That's the advice from author Kathleen Chada, whose sons Eoghan and Ruairi were killed by their father Sanjeev in 2013.
She admits it's easy to get lost in grief, but it doesn't have to be all "doom and gloom."
Ms. Chada has also published a book, which details how she attempted to rebuild her life after the death of the five and ten-year-old boys.
