The 49-year-old father of two was struck by a motorbike and killed while at a speeding checkpoint in Dublin on Sunday.
Council Civic Offices in Mullingar and Athlone have set up books, which remain open until the end of the week.
Garda Stations in Mullingar, Athlone, Tullamore, Birr and Portlaoise have also a book of condolence available to the public who wish to extend their sympathies.
