That's according to the Construction Industry Federation.
The director of the Construction Industry Federation says the 'concrete levy' is putting many building projects in jeopardy.
The levy, which was recently reduced to 5 per cent, is expected to be introduced in the latter part of next year.
It was brought in as a small measure in the Budget, aiming to raise 80 million euro a year through a levy on concrete blocks.
