Drew Harris last week said the decision to withdraw the Public Order Unit at 7am during the anti-immigration riots in July was the wrong move.
Former Detective Chief Superintendent in Laois and Offaly, John O'Brien, is calling on Mr. Harris to reflect on the situation and consider the "honourable course of action."
