No arrests have been made and investigations are ongoing.
Gardaí are investigating a number of burglaries between Westmeath and Meath.
The first instance occured on Monday the 14th at a property in Mullingar, during which a sum of cash was taken.
On Wednesday the 16th two burglaries were reported, the first in Athboy at 1pm in which a number of items were taken, and another in Kildalkey at 7pm.
On Thursday the 17th, a property in Kilmessan was burgled between 2 and 6pm and a sum of cash was taken.
It is not yet known if the incidents are connected.
