The keys to a long-awaited new school building in Laois are being handed over this weekend.
The students and staff of St. Francis' special school in Portlaoise were due to move to a new site on the Borris Road last Easter 2020, after their current premises on the Timahoe Road was deemed outdated and inadequate.
The project has faced delays due to a row between the contractor and Department of Education and the outbreak of covid.
