Ollie Daly died on Thursday after struggling with illness.
The GAA community in Offaly is mourning the passing of former Offaly County Board Chair Ollie Daly after an illness.
The Ferbane man served as County Board Chair from 2005 to 2007.
He was a former player, manager, and Chairperson with his club Ballycumber, and also served as chair in Ferbane.
Ballycumber GAA say he was a friend and they're offering their sympathies to Ollie's family.

One of the great personalities of the Offaly GAA world, he is a former chairman of the County Board, Ballycumber and Ferbane GAA Clubs. He was chairman of the County Board from 2005 to 2007 and was a very pro-active, energetic official.
