Both counties saw an increase of more than 10%.
Westmeath and Offaly have seen the largest increase in apartment costs in the country.
The Institute of Private Auctioneers and Valuers' latest report shows prices in the two counties have jumped by 14.4% and 13% respectively, in the first six months of the year.
A Westmeath apartment will set you back around €206,000 on average, while the figure in Offaly is now €150,000.
A similar property in Laois costs around €177,000, on average.
IPAV says prices have been on an upward trajectory since the third quarter of 2023, with apartment costs up over 5% nationally.
IPAV CEO, Castlepollard's Pat Davitt said it's hardly surprising the issue of the supply of homes and affordability is set to be the number one issue in the General Election:
"With our growing population, now estimated at 5.38m, rising by 98,700 in the year to April 2024 according to the latest CSO figures published in August, and a severe and pent-up lack of supply of homes, prices have continued to edge higher."
