Young people have a responsibility to take action when it comes to researching cancer.
That's the view of Laois student Josh Corbett, who was runner-up in his division at this year's BT Young Scientist Exhibition.
The fifth year pupil at Portlaoise CBS entered the Senior Technology Individual Category with a research paper focusing on brain cancer.
His project is called "Development of a novel nano-QSAR model to predict drug delivery of nanoparticles to the brain" and aims to develop Glioblastoma treatment.
