19 Midlands Projects To Benefit From €750k In CLÁR Funding

Westmeath is in line to benefit the most from the investment.

Communities and sports facilities around the midlands are in line for funding of 750 thousand euro.

19 initiatives in Laois, Offaly and Westmeath are set to benefit from the latest round of CLÁR funding, which is aimed at rural, community driven projects.

Westmeath is leading the way in the region with 9 projects, while Laois and Offaly have 5 projects each.

While Offaly Green Party Senator Pippa Hackett says there seems to be a focus on outdoor activities, such as sports areas and community and sensory gardens.
