The challenge will see a man run or cycle over 1,300 kilometres.
A new fundraiser launched in memory of Ashling Murphy will see participants ascend 23 of Ireland's highest peaks.
The Ashling Murphy 23 Peaks challenge has been undertaken by Paul Tierney, who will cycle or run over 1,300 kilometres over a span of ten days.
He'll embark on his journey in August, with the money raised going to the Ashling Murphy Memorial Fund and the Children's Grief Centre.
Mr. Tierney is hoping to raise €23,000, and has already racked up over €2,000.
