The 77 housing estate, made up of 2 to 3 bed houses, was delivered in partnership with local authorities, the Housing Finance Agency, the Housing Agency and the Department of Housing Local Government and Heritage.
Currently, the CHI provide 336 homes across Laois and Carlow.
Since their foundation in 1973, they have promoted almost 7,000 homes through home-ownership, shared ownership and social rented co-operatives.
Speaking at the launch, Cathaoirleach of Laois County Council, Thomasina Connell, said, “The direct delivery of homes by local authorities, and Approved Housing Bodies like CHI, is crucial to providing a bright future for people and families.”
