A beloved Athlone store is to close its doors.
Behan's Fruit and Veg has been in business for 36 years, and owner Phil has made the decision to retire.

They're thanking all of the store's staff for the work they've done over the years, which they say made it so enjoyable.
Phil, Betty and Sharon also say they've made friends for life from the customers.
Behan's Fruit and Veg will open for the last time next Saturday, August 31st.
