Calls For Derelict Midlands Hotel To Be Cleaned Up

The local authority needs to 'pull their weight,' according to a local councillor.

A Laois councillor is suggesting the local authority should 'pull their weight' in relation to a derelict hotel in Portlaoise. 

Willie Aird believes painting the County Hotel on Main Street will help uplift the town.

The property was purchased by the council in 2019, with plans to convert it into apartments in the pipeline.
