It's to mark Poetry Day Ireland today.
A collection of poetry from over 100 years ago is being relaunched in Offaly to mark Poetry Day Ireland today.
Offaly County Council has overseen the publication of "The Poems and Ballads of Edward 'The Poet' Egan", which is now available to order online.
Egan was born in The Meelahans outside Tullamore just after the Famine, and lived through major changes in society at the turn of the century and after the First World War.
