30 local authorities in the country will see changes to the First Home Scheme.
More first-time buyers in the midlands are expected to qualify for government help, aimed at getting them on the property ladder.
Price caps under the First Home Scheme have increased by up to €50,000 in the region.
Buyers in Laois will benefit from the largest jump, from a ceiling of €300,000 to €350,000.
There's been a €25,000 increase in Westmeath and Offaly - the ceiling in those counties is now €375,000 and €325,000, respectively.
The €400 million fund was set up to help first-time buyers to bridge the gap between their mortgage, deposit and the price of a new home.
