Nationwide, there have been 26 deaths in work-related incidents in 2022.
26 people lost their lives in 2022 due to work-related incidents, according to the Health and Safety Authority.
The number marks a reduction of 12 on the 2021 figure of 38.
The HSA has revealed there were four workplace-related deaths in the midlands this year.
Two occurred in Offaly, with one each in Westmeath and Laois.
Most of the fatalities occurred in Farming with 12 deaths, an increase of two on last year.
