Dessie Byrne and Muriel Eriksson were from Ballybay in Athlone.
The funerals of the victims of a double drowning will be held tomorrow.
50-year-old Dessie Byrne, and his sister, 62-year-old Muriel Eriksson, were both originally from Ballybay in Athlone, passed away in Ballybunion last Thursday.
Their funeral mass will take place in St. John's Church, Lecarrow at 12 noon tomorrow.
Dessie will be buried afterwards in the local cemetery, and Muriel's cremation will take place on Wednesday at 4 o'clock in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.
Dessie is survived by his partner Paulette, sons Dean and Josh, Paulette's daughter Regina and her sons Blake and Jace.
Muriel is survived by her husband Kris, son John and daughter-in-law My.
