A woman was accosted by a man in public.
Offaly gardaí have made an arrest in relation to a robbery in broad daylight last month.
A man accosted a woman in Lloyd Town Park in Tullamore at about 1.30 on Monday 27th September.
He stole the contents of her purse and fled on a bicycle.
As a result of investigations and with the support of the public, Tullamore Gardaí have since arrested and detained a man.
A file is now being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
