It follows what the farming body describes as a "hopeful" meeting about their Pre-Budget submission with Finance Minister Pascal Donohue and Public Expenditure Minister Jack Chambers.
A proper application of residential zoned land tax exemptions for active land and climate funding are some of their key points outlined in their meeting.
The need for continued supports for the tillage sector were also stressed by IFA President, Ballinakill's Francie Gorman.
