A Midlands hotel is set to host a talk on women in politics tomorrow.
Women in the midlands will hear of the obstacles to getting involved in politics, and how to overcome them, this weekend.
Those obstructions include discrimination, prejudice and a risk of violence.
That's according to Senator Sharon Keogan, who is heading a campaign to get more women to run for election.
A talk on the subject is being held in the Tullamore Court Hotel tomorrow morning, and will feature workshops with industry leaders, including education on online safety, branding and messaging.
