But the IDA is anticipating a slow-down in investment later this year.
Mobile phone company Huawei, which has a base in Athlone is investing €80m in research and development operations in Ireland in the next two years.
The move will create a further 110 jobs across their bases in the midlands, Cork and Dublin.
It comes 18 months after a similar R&D push in Ireland valued at €70m.
