Longford Westmeath TD Robert Troy says he voted against the assisted dying report after speaking to people with Motor Neurone Disease.
The Dáil last voted to accept the final report of the Joint Oireachtas Committee on Assisted Dying by 76 to 53 late last night.
The Fianna Fáil deputy was one of only three TDs who sat on the committee for the entire time period who voted No.
