Majority of Midlands Students Want Climate Change Taught In Schools

A survey shows over 90% worry about the issue.

Over 90% of midlands students fear climate change, while two thirds say it should be a separate school subject. 

That's according to a Climate and Nature Summit survey of over 1000 pupils nationwide. 

Green schools such as Colaiste Iosagain in Offaly are already running green initiatives to reduce plastics, collect litter and drive down carbon emissions.

But student Saul Whelan says education is key to changing attitudes:
