The arrest and seizure was made on Monday.
A man is due in court today in relation to a €130,000 drug seizure in the midlands earlier this week.
Quantities of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis, as well as a sum of cash were discovered in a car in the Ballymore area shortly before 11am on Monday morning.
The drugs have been sent to Forensic Science Ireland for further analysis.
The occupant of the car, a man in his 20s, has been charged and is due to appear before a sitting of Athlone District Court.
