Truly Dental cannot provide treatment services from June 24th.
Medical card holders are being cut out of the dental treatment system because of outdated legislation.
Fianna Fail rep Tony McCormack is warning of a growing crisis after Truly Dental, which has offices on Tullamore's William Street and in Moate, confirmed it can no longer provide treatment under the Dental Treatment Services Scheme from June 24th.
The scheme allows for services to be provided through agreements between the HSE and individual independent dentists.
Deputy McCormack wants the same deal put in place for the larger chain practices which are becoming more common across the country:
