Midlands Auctioneer Blames Rent Pressure Zones On Eviction Notice Increase

The Residential Tenancies Board has said almost 3,000 notices to quit were issued in the first half of this year

Policy around Rent Pressure Zones are to blame for an increase in the number of eviction notices issued.

That's according to the CEO of the Institute of Professional Auctioneers and Valuers, Pat Davitt, who says an unfair market is causing landlords to sell their properties.

The Residential Tenancies Board has said almost 3,000 notices to quit were issued in the first half of this year - an increase of 58%.
