A midlands brewery has been forced to cancel a sold-out festival this weekend due to the covid restrictions.
250 tickets had been sold for an Oktoberfest event at Dead Centre Brewing in Athlone tomorrow night.
However, the continued requirement for patrons to stay seated means they can no longer afford to run the event - pulling the plug on ticket-holders, musicians, and local, artisan food and drink producers.
