A Midlands man who aims to deliver 10,000 new homes within three years says the State needs to delivers on taxation, planning and zoning for his ambitions to be realised.
Toomevara's Ciaran Fitzpatrick, is Co-founder and managing director of Fitzpatrick & Heavey Homes which focuses on starter homes, mixing private, affordable and social housing in Offaly, Westmeath, Cork and Wicklow so far.
Mr Fitzpatrick says its targets can be met once they can fire up a number of projects simultaneously and construct at scale.
He says if government can make the tax system more sympathetic to buyers, construction companies will be sell more houses:
