The prosecuting Garda was returning to the station when they saw the person back behind the wheel.
A midlands disqualified driver has been arrested again after driving away from court after receiving a driving ban.
The motorist was stopped by Gardai in January and charged with multiple offences - including being disqualified from driving.
They appeared before Portlaoise District Court and were given a four year driving disqualification and a three month suspended prison sentence.
Directly after the case, the prosecuting Garda was returning to the station when they saw the person driving away from the court house.
They were arrested again and charged for driving while disqualified and brought back into court the same day, where this time they received a 10 year disqualification, a 4 month prison sentence and a large fine.
