A midlands man who was killed in a hit-and-run in Limerick is due to be laid to rest this week.
Mountrath's Joe Drennan passed away following a collision involving two cars in Castletroy, Limerick on Friday night.
He's been described as a "bright and talented student," who was "determined to make a difference for the better in the world."
Joe's funeral mass is due to take place this Wednesday in St. Fergal's Church in Camross at 3pm in the afternoon.
He is survived by his parents Tim and Marguerite, as well as his brothers and sisters.
