Nearly 400 households in the midlands received notices to quit in the second half of last year.
Figures from the Residential Tenancies Board shows the region accounts for 4.3% of all eviction notices in Ireland.
153 notices to quit were received by households in both Laois and Westmeath between July and December of last year.
Those figures are followed by 88 in Offaly.
Nationally, over 9,000 eviction notices were issued in the second half of 2022, with the landlord’s intention to sell a property or needing to move a family member in the most common reasons given.
