A new device that will allow people with paralysis the opportunity to walk is being launched in Dublin today.

The Exoskeleton Programme is a collaboration between Dublin City University and activist Mark Pollock.

People paralysed through spinal cord injury, stroke or MS are among those who can benefit from the technology.

It’s the first project of its kind in the capital, and follows similar programmes already in place in Offaly, Donegal and Cork.
