David Henry's funeral takes place in Daingean this morning.
An Offaly community will unite today to pay their respects to a family after the death of their son in a car crash earlier this week.
David Henry, 33, died in the collision shortly after midnight on Monday at Ballina Cross, Annaharvey, just outside of Tullamore.
Tributes have been paid to Mr Henry as a kind man interested in "everything to do with nature" and his family.
His funeral takes place at 11am this morning in Mary Mother of God Church Daingean with burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery in Daingean.
