A group water scheme in Offaly must request assistance from the local authority to solve an ongoing water issue.
That's the view of Tullamore councillor Neil Feighery as residents in Killeigh and surrounding areas have no supply following a no boil issue in the region last Wednesday.
It was upgraded to a no consumption notice the following day by the Killeigh Group Water Scheme, with residents expressing frustration with the group as it's unclear when exactly the notice will be lifted.
