Details of the complaints in the Irish Prison system were released under a freedom of information act.
Almost 1 in 5 serious complaints made in Irish Prisons since the beginning of last year have come in the Midlands prison.
In total - there's been 122 at facilities across the country.
Assaults accounted for almost half of them, at 58, while there were 33 allegations of mistreatment in jail.
There were also 17 sexual incidents, and seven allegations of racial abuse.
But according to details released under the Freedom of Information Act, only eight of the complaints were upheld or partly upheld.
Gabriel Keaveny, assistant general-secretary of the Prison Officers Association, says there's a huge problem with false allegations:
