Regional Hospital Tullamore once again saw no one left waiting on a trolley in the month.
There were over 150 people on trolleys in midlands hospitals in August, a drop of more than 20% on the same time last year.
Regional Hospital Tullamore as one of only four hospitals to have no one waiting for a bed, the same figure as 2023.
In Mullingar, 46 people were on trolleys during the month, and in Portlaoise 108 people were left waiting, the only midlands hospital to see an increase.
Nationally, over 7,800 people were on trolleys, with University Hospital Limerick reporting as the most overcrowded.
