Over 30,000 Work From Home In Midlands

The number of people in permanent employment saw a jump of over 11 percent in the third quarter of this year - 211,600 people are now permanently employed.

Over 30,000 people in the midlands choose to work from home.

According to the latest CSO figures, 31,200 people aged over 15 'usually' spend over half of their week working from home.

In total, over 2.5 million people are employed in Ireland, an increase of just under 10 percent from 2019.

There was a marginal drop in the usual amount of hours worked in a week since 2019, from 36.7 to 36.2.
