Fiona Pender went missing from her home in 1996.
Today marks the 25th anniversary of the disappearance of an expectant mother from Offaly.
Fiona Pender, was reported missing from her home on Church Street Tullamore on the 23rd of August 1996.
On this day 25 years ago, a hairdresser and part time model who was seven months pregnant went missing.
Despite years of exhaustive searching no trace of Fiona has ever been found.
She is one of almost 900 long term missing persons in Ireland and although a quarter of a century has passed, appeals for information are being renewed today.
Dermot Browne of Missing Persons Ireland says someone may be withholding details that could bring closure to her family:
The annual Fiona Pender Memorial walk was held in Tullamore yesterday.
