635 detections of illegal weight loss drugs in parcels have been uncovered by Revenue officers in the Midlands and Dublin.
Consumers need to take care when purchasing medical products online - that's the warning from Revenue this week.
It comes as officers are highlighting the huge number of illegal importations of medicinal and weight-loss items this year.
There have been 635 detections over a two week period whilst officers were examining parcels at premises in the midlands and Dublin.
These parcels included large amounts of unidentified Botox-type and tanning items that were thought to have been obtained through social media.
