A "seriously faulty" vehicle has been seized by Gardaí in the midlands.
The motorist was stopped by the Delvin Roads Policing Unit in Kinnegad after it was discovered they were an unaccompanied learner driver with no L-plates on display.
Gardaí say the vehicle had several serious faults, included a badly damaged wheel.
They also say proceedings will follow.
