There's a chance the Slieve Blooms will receive a light dusting.
While we can expect some colder weather in the coming days, snow will only be seen on higher grounds.
Ireland will be on the north side of the jet stream, meaning colder air and temperatures of 3 to 4 degrees Celsius below the average.
There is also a possibility of sleet and hail, but it will mostly fall as showers, with a slight chance of snow on top of the Slieve Bloom mountains.
