They were stopped by Laois Gardaí yesterday, where cash and drugs were seized.
Three men have been arrested following a cash and drugs seizure in the midlands.
Gardaí in Mountmellick made the seizure during a routine traffic stop yesterday, where the three occupants of the vehicle were detained and taken to Tullamore Garda Station.
Further investigations led to the arrest and detention of the men, in connection with recent retail theft and deception incidents in the region.
One of the males, who is in his 20s, was charged and appeared before Portlaoise District Court yesterday.
The other two men, in their 30s and 40s respectively, have also been charged and are due before Mullingar District Court today.
