TUS Midlands Hoping Vacant Properties Can Supplement Accommodation Shortfall

The Department of Higher Education wants Technological Universities to submit accommodation plans.

TUS Midlands will be looking to target vacant properties in a bid to increase access to student accommodation.

Technological Universities are being invited to submit proposals for housing for those in third-level education, as part of a new scheme announced by Further and Higher Education Minister Simon Harris.

They'll be asked to look at converting vacant properties on or around the campus, or submit suggestions for entirely new developments.
