The new idea has been trending on Twitter since last Friday.
Hundreds of Irish people have been watching the same film at the same time in their own home and tweeting about it.
The hashtag 'Covideo party' was created by Westmeath comedian Alison Spittle and has been trending on Twitter since it began last Friday.
People vote on a film and watch it on Netflix at 9 o'clock every night.
Tonight's movie will be Dirty Dancing.
Alison says she's even begun dressing up as the main characters:
Tonight's film at 9pm GMT on @NetflixUK is Dirty Dancing.
