Scoil Mhuire Loughegar is set to benefit from the RISE Community Fund.
A Westmeath school is set to benefit from a cash grant.
The RISE Community Fund is awarding a one thousand euro grant to Scoil Mhuire Loughegar just outside Mullingar as they aim to provide cash injections into schools of every county this year as part of a new national programme.
The primary school currently has just over 200 pupils.
Through its 2026 national schools programme, RISE is seeking to help children in rural Ireland take full advantage of digital connectivity and build necessary skills to succeed in today’s technology-driven world.
