Five young people from Westmeath have reached the Foróige NFTE finals 2024.
Students Anna Sheehy, Abigail O'Connor, Isabelle Cox, Kila Fagan McDermott and Molly Goldsberry from St. Finians College, Mullingar, reached the Social Enterprise final with Gloine Mara, at the awards ceremony at Richmond Barracks.
Gloine Mara is an ethical and environmentally friendly social enterprise that aims to improve societies mental health with stylish yet effective jewellery, using bracelets as an effective means of focusing on deep breathing.
Each young person participating in the final completed approximately 40 hours of learning to come up with a business idea, develop their product/service and design a business plan and trade.
