They hope to have everyone back on campus by the first week of October.
Athlone Institute of Technology says it's committed to providing an authentic campus experience when students return later this year.
It's gearing towards a phased re-opening - with 2nd, 3rd and 4th year students returning on September 14th, 1st years on September 28th, and a date for post-graduates yet to be confirmed.
Timetables, subject to change, will be available at online registration on July 13th.
AIT's Director of Marketing and Communications, Orla Thornton says there will be a mix of on-campus and digital learning, but they're focused on maintaining the authentic, practical student experience:
