The week of free events starts today and runs until the 25th of May.
Dawn and Dusk Choruses,and Bogland walks - those are just some of the free events to mark Biodiversity Week in the Midlands.
Starting today and running into the 25th of May, it aims to teach people about different habitats.
In Laois, Dunamaise Arts Centre and Grounded Food Company host screening of "The Longest Malin to Mizen" and a regenerative farm food event.
While in Westmeath, The Midlands Bat Conservation Group is hosting a Nocturnal Bat Walk at Belvedere Gardens this evening and on Sunday evening at 8:30.
And in Offaly, Geashill host a bioblitz at and Bord na Móna ecologist Dr Mark McCorry will lead a site visit to Derrybrat Bog on May 24th.
